Hollis Brookline Crew Team

Spring tryouts will be Monday, March 2nd from 3:00-4:30 in the HBHS mini gym for the high school team and Tuesday, March 3rd from 2:45-3:30 in the HBMS multi-purpose room for the middle school. Rowers of any (or no) ability are invited to try out. Remember to wear tight-fitting shorts or leggings, sneakers and bring a water bottle. If you participated in the Winter Warmer ergatta, you do not need to try out

Great racing for HB Crew at the Lebanon Sculling Scrimmage, against Upper Valley/Lebanon and Manchester Alliance. Some fantastic results with 7 wins, in G1V4x, B1V4x, G2V4x, B2V4x, G1N4x, B1V2x and G1V2x. It was a fitting end to the season and a great day out. A beautiful day in Hanover against some tough competition. Wins for HB in the heats for the B2V4+ crewed by Byron, Dan A, Pat, Jack, and Sam (C) as well as the G1V4+ with Hannah W, Brianna, Olivia, Natalie, and Julia (C). A great showing all around.

Amber Zapatka Memorial Regatta

May 11-12, 2019

Great weekend for HB at the Amber Zapatka Memorial Regatta in Lowell, MA. 4 crews in Grand Finals, 3 to Petite Finals and 2 to C Finals. One Gold to Katie in the WJLtw1x, 4th to Hannah B, 4th to the Byron, Kevin, Isaac and Dan A in the MJ4x and 5th to Issac and Kevin in the MJ2x. Great racing from the rest of the team and it s on to the Granite State Fours on Sunday.

Lebanon Sculling Race

Great days racing up at Lebanon against Great Bay, Souhegan and Lebanon. Wins for the G2V4x (Brianna, Olivia, Natalie,Hannah B.) B1V4x (Byron, Kevin, Isaac and Dan A) and B2B4+ (Matt, Jack, Dan N, Mason and Julia). Fun day all around and big thanks to the parents support and fabulous food tent, towing the boat and food trailer and rowers taxi service.

Head of the Charles Regatta

Hollis Brookline represented in the WJ4+ crewed by Katie, Olivia, Brianna, Rianna and Julia (C) and the MJ4x+ with Alex, Isaac, Kevin, Madoc, and Kim (C). Over 2,300 crews and 804 clubs competed in this prestigious race, now in its 54th year showcasing the best teams in the world. Great job HB!

New England Championships JR/HS

Strong showing at the NE Champs on lake Quinsigamond in Worcester. Hollis Brookline brought in two gold, two silver and a bronze (with a missing skeg no less!) Great effort made by everyone.

Textile River Regatta

Great day on the Merrimack at the Textile River Regatta. 14 boats entered: 7 medals - 3 Gold 3 Silver and a Bronze. All of our athletes rowed hard and made us proud, regardless of the result. One week to prepare for the NE Regional Championships

The weather held and wind stayed mostly calm for racing in singles, doubles, quads, fours and eights in beautiful Hanover. HB Crew pulled in 7 wins out of 14 races!!!
