A great program has great alums.

HB Crew is truly proud of our alums.  Rowing is a unique sport that creates a shared experience we carry throughout our lives.  The challenges we face as a team, as a rower, shape how we live our lives.

We love when our alums come back and visit, whether it's to take a row in their old boat, help out as coaches in our summer programs, or just drop by practice to say hello, it's always homecoming here.

We'll try to keep up with them here on our alums page.  Let us know what's going on and we'll share it with our team and your old friends here!

Featured Alums

Hope Sutton

Hope graduated from HB in 2016 and now attends Assumption College in Worcester, MA.  She continued her rowing career at this historic program on Lake Quinsigamond.

She loves to return home to HB Crew each summer to teach her favorite sport to new rowers in our summer program.  Always a leader, always smiling, Hope embodies the spirit of HB Crew and we look forward to her visits home to HB.  We also see her at several events each year and she always stops by the tent to cheer us on.

Emily Cook

HB Crew Alum Emily Cook in her freshmen year at UNH rowed 7 Seat in the "Phoenix." TRR 2015 Event #39: Womens Collegiate Novice 8+.

The UNH tidal river and wet launch is a new adjustment, but going great! 5:15am report, bus to practice from 6-7am; not a problem, loves it! Also loves the sense of community and mutal dependancey on each other: teamwork! Thanks for stopping by our TRR 2015 tent Emily!

On Saturday, October 10, 2015 Emily rowed in her first collegiate regatta in Shrewsbury MA.  Em’s UNH novice-4  team placed 2nd out of 8 teams. The UNH varsity-4 team placed 1st out of 18 teams. Congratulations Emily!

Chris Lazich

Chris rows varsity eight at Marist College.
